The Board Game of Crime and Detection
Do you enjoy a good mystery? Do you like trying to figure out who done it? If so, then you’ll love playing the Clue board game! This classic game is all about solving a crime by figuring out who committed the murder, where it happened, and with what weapon. At https://abyssproxyshop.com/what-makes-a-great-mtg-proxy-card/ we will teach you how to play Clue and give you some tips on how to win. Let’s get started!
The first thing you need to do is gather your friends (or family) and choose who will be playing. You’ll need at least three players but no more than six. Once you have your group, it’s time to set up the game board.
To set up the game board, you’ll need to put out all of the pieces:
– The game board itself
– Six colored pawns
– A deck of cards (there are nine different types of cards in the deck)
You’ll also need a piece of paper and pencil for each player to keep track of their guesses. And that’s it! Now you’re ready to play Clue.
The object of the game is to figure out who committed the murder, where it happened, and with what weapon. To do this, you’ll need to move around the board collecting clues. You’ll also want to make good use of the cards in your hand. Let’s go over how to do both of these things.
To move around the board, you’ll roll a die and then move your pawn the number of spaces indicated by the die. As you land on different spaces, you’ll either be able to collect a clue or make a suggestion. We’ll go over what those are in just a minute.
There are nine different types of cards in the deck: six character cards, six weapon cards, and nine location cards. At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt three cards. Two of these will be clue cards and the other will be a suspect card. The player can look at their own cards but must keep them secret from the other players.
